Just noticed today that a few branches on my Dongkui yangmei are pushing buds that look like female flower buds. This tree already set some Dongkui fruit this season and even fruited a bit last year, so it’s still young but clearly doing really well. Curious to see how these buds develop—will share an update as they progress.
