Wandao Yangmei (Late Rice): a premium, late-ripening variety primarily cultivated in the Zhoushan archipelago of Zhejiang Province. Its name literally translates to "Late Rice," reflecting its harvest timing.
Fruit Profile: The fruit is small with a deep, purplish-red skin that turns almost black when fully ripe. It is highly regarded for its high sugar content and low acidity, offering a very sweet, mellow flavor. About 10g.
