Leaves are heart-shaped, glossy. Fruits are elongated that ripen from pale green to light yellow-green. The fruit has intensely sweet flavor with strong honey note. Compared to darker mulberries, Australian Green Mulberry fruit is less staining, making it popular for fresh eating straight from the tree. It can also be used in jams, desserts, and drying, though it is most often enjoyed fresh.
